Antifoul
Sealift3 offers a unique lift, clean, antifoul and relaunch service in under 24 hours.
We do not use lifting straps, which apply unwanted stresses to the hull and can cause damage to antifoul paintwork when re-launching boats. This service would usually take at least 5 or 6 days when using a traditional crane or travel lift as you have to wait for the paint to dry and also to harden before relaunch – otherwise the lifting straps will damage the antifoul.
During the summer months our antifoul service starts at 14:00 and we schedule up to 18:00 to complete the cleaning and painting work. The boat is then re-launched at 08:00 the next morning, allowing a full night's drying time.
During the winter months our antifoul service starts at 09:00. This gives a longer period for the antifoul to dry as the temperature is colder during the winter months.
